I charge flat rate fees, which means you know how much you will pay for legal services before I begin any work. Filing fees are additional and are either noted below or I will discuss them with you before I begin any work on your legal matter. Certain situations, such as substantive office actions, may require a higher fee that listed on this page but, again, I will discuss that with you before I begin any work. My consultations start at 30 minutes for $150 (longer paid consultations are available).
Registration: $1650 plus filing fees ($350 per class), includes comprehensive search, written legal analysis, 1 trademark registration in 1 class, response to USPTO for simple office actions concerning this application, and communication throughout the application process. Additional classes cost additional fees (see below).
Registration plus Office Action Response: $2500 plus filing fees ($350 per class), includes comprehensive search, written legal analysis, 1 trademark registration in 1 class, answer to all (simple and substantive) office actions concerning this application, and communication throughout the application process.
Additional Classes (filed with original application): $300 per class, plus filing fee of $350 per class
Simple Office Action Response (for application not filed by Windhorse Legal): $300 for simple reply (such as substitute specimens, disclaimers)
Substantive Office Action Response: Starts at $1000 for substantive reply (such as likelihood of confusion, merely descriptive)
Trademark Monitoring: $350 per year (12 months from start of monitoring)
Trademark Assignment: $300 plus filing fee (starting at $40 for one registered trademark)
